About Royalties
(Possible Additional Fees)
Your group may need to pay additional fees (beyond purchasing performance materials) if:
- You plan on selling tickets or using the show to raise funds, and/or
- 1000 or more persons will watch the show.
Please Note: Most church groups, schools and/or amateur groups that perform the show do not have to pay royalties.
A simple rule-of-thumb: if you or your group want to make money off the show, then so do we. So you will need to pay a royalty, which is basically a percentage of your earnings.
