E. Christine Anderson (Chris) is a songwriter from the Washington, D.C. metro area. She started writing "WAiT - it's a musical!" while a student at Wesley Theological Seminary, completing graduate-level writing classes at American University in the process. She is an active participant in the Playwright's Forum and plays electric guitar and mandola for a church band in Northern Virginia.
Chris is a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS) and is represented by BMI and Sound Exchange. She's been a consultant to start-up church bands of various denominations, a player/singer in several secular bands and enjoys speaking at workshops. In 2003 she won a GRAMMY in the Streets demo contest for her song Their Leader from "WAiT - it's a musical!"
